"Will the 1-day class teach just one technique or several?"

This particular class will focus on fast ways to achieve bright, beautiful, and seamless results, using a mixture of different techniques, such as Foilayage, Teasing, Babylights, Root Smudging, and Color Melting.

"Will we learn traditional/ open air painting (French style)?

No. Although many of our section strategies and placement can be utilized with open air techniques, we don't specifically teach open air painting.

"Will you show how to balayage with Gray Coverage?"

We know that gray coverage is one of the bread and butter services we offer. Although our time restrictions don't allow for us to perform an actual gray coverage and balayage, all of our techniques can easily be performed under most gray coverage situations, which we will absolutely discuss.

"Will you cover business and balayage?"

Although we will answer any and all questions about business, balayage, and social media, the main focus of this workshop is to LEVEL UP your balayage game to give you more confidence and control of your client outcomes.

"Do you also offer online training? I'm itching to get started."

Yes, we do. We have a monthly subscription based service on www.balayageonline.com which includes a 90 day balayage mastery program. This is the perfect supplement to any live class!

"If I can't make it or something comes up and I can't make the class, can I get a refund?"

Unfortunately, all sales to Masters of Balayage are final, because all our event costs and preparation are based on attendee count, confirmation and ticket purchases.

"Are mannequin heads required?"

Yes. We require that all students bring a mannequin head to the class. Preference is medium to dark brown, medium length, and 100% Human hair (very important, because synthetic hair will not lighten). Thankfully, Masters of Balayage can offer discounts through our partner Pivot Point and Hair Art. Here are the details:

"What is the format for the day?"

Prepare for a full day immersed in balayage goodness! Starting, our expert team of educators will introduce you to our new collection, through an interactive demonstration.  Following that is hands on education, led by our certified MOB Masters, who will walk you through the new collection with personalized focus and attention, so everyone leaves more confident and ready to tackle any balayage challenge!

"What do I need to bring?"

All students must bring a mannequin, mannequin stand (free standing or table top) and adequate tools to color and paint with, such as brushes, bowls, clips, etc. A complete list will be sent out upon ticket purchase in the confirmation email, and in emails leading up to class day."
